SHR Series High-Speed Mixer (Thermal Oil Jacketed)
The SHR Series High-Speed Mixer is a high-intensity blending system specifically engineered for the plastics, rubber, and chemical industries. Unlike standard mixers, this model features a dual-action heating system that combines high-speed mechanical friction with an auxiliary thermal oil jacket, making it the ideal solution for drying hygroscopic materials and preparing complex PVC dry blends.
Advanced Heating & Drying Logic
The machine is designed to reach processing temperatures rapidly through two simultaneous methods:
Mechanical Self-Friction: The high-speed rotation of the stainless steel impellers (up to 1500 RPM) generates heat through particle-to-particle friction.
Auxiliary Thermal Oil Jacket: For intensive drying or low-speed processing, the vessel is equipped with an electric heating jacket. This jacket uses JD300 or JD320 grade thermal oil to provide uniform, stable heat across the entire surface of the mixing drum, preventing localized material degradation.
Key Technical Features
Precision Temperature Control: Equipped with dual thermocouples to monitor both the thermal oil temperature and the actual material temperature.
High-Safety Design: The heating system and oil filling ports are clearly labeled with safety signage. The system includes an expansion vent to manage oil pressure during heat-up.
Triple Sealing Technology: The main shaft utilizes a combination of PTFE, air-purge, and oil seals to ensure no powder enters the bearing housing, even under high heat.
Pneumatic Discharge: Allows for rapid unloading of hot material, which can be interlocked with temperature sensors to automate the batch cycle

Specifications Summary
Feature Description
Mixing Vessel Mirror-polished SUS304 Stainless Steel
Heating Grade Auxiliary Oil-Heated (Supports JD300/320 Thermal Oil)
Motor Drive Dual-speed or Frequency Inverter (VFD) options
Lid Operation Pneumatic lifting with safety limit switch interlock
Applications PVC Coloring, Granule Drying, Powder Coating, Rubber Blending
Maintenance & Safety Requirements
Thermal Oil: You must use high-quality heat transfer oil with a flash point matching JD300 or JD320.
Oil Level Check: Never engage the heating switch if the oil level is below the minimum indicator. Operating the heaters in a dry jacket will cause permanent damage to the heating elements.
First-Time Start: When adding new oil, follow a "stepped" heating process to allow any residual moisture in the oil to escape through the vent before reaching full operating temperature.
