Why improve aluminum pulley to steel #45 or brass pulley?
Good question. Brass or #45 steel pulley is rigid and more suitable for high torque request I suppose. You can see that the desktop pick and place machine are using brass pulley instead of the aluminum pulley which is very popular in persoanl 3D printers.
